ONE Lancashire is offering free one day summer training courses to its members. The master classes are all run by professional trainers so you can improve your management skills and abilities. Courses include:
Marketing Skills, Communications, Funding, Leadership, Coaching staff, Business writing, Problem solving, Presentation skills, Project Management, Social Impact, Business planning and Managing finance

ILM QCF qualifications Level 2/3 programme
Leading to a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Team Leading or Management
ONE Lancashire is subsiding this course delivered by the Via Partnership. The taught programme will focus on practical situations that the 3rd sector has to deal with, over 5 full days. This is followed by the development of a portfolio of evidence for your chosen qualification using an online electronic portfolio.
Course starting on the 4th July 2013 for 5 weeks.

The scheme offers social enterprises based in the North West and Yorkshire the opportunity to win funding and business support to help them grow and increase their social impact. The Awards feature three prize funds - £50,000, £20,000 and £10,000 To enter the competition, social enterprises should complete a short entry form downloadable from www.santanderseda.co.uk The deadline for applications is the 1st July 2013 and the winners will be announced in September 2013.

The WO Street Transformation Funds priorities are to support projects that:
- Advance education and relieve poverty helping in particular: children and young people who are unable to meet their educational or living costs.
- Older, blind and disabled people as well as those who cannot afford medical or convalescent care.
Awards are available between £2,500 - £6,000 to support organisations growth and development and support them to become more sustainable.
