Feeding Lancashire Together : Please help with our survey

Over the last three years, Together Lancashire has been involved in supporting and networking a wide range of food banks and other food poverty projects across the county. We estimate that there are over 100 organisations who provide food to the needy – and we are seeing great benefits from bringing together those with similar objectives to provide and share resources, expertise, and advocacy.

In recognition of this work, Together Lancashire has recently received funding from Lancashire County Council to support a programme of activities, working alongside key partners and providers such as your organisation; the aim is to improve availability of healthy, affordable food to the people of the county.

In order to understand better the range of activities undertaken by food related projects, we are asking for your help with this brief questionnaire; it requests information on your activities around food banks, community cafes and "soup kitchens", teaching about cooking and budgeting and about food growing projects.

All Voluntary, Community and Faith Based projects, across Lancashire (including Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen) are invited to take part, and can ask Together Lancashire for help, (although only those within the County Council area are eligible for resources funded by the County Council).

The data will enable us to provide information back to you, will assist in influencing policy and identify those with similar interests wishing to work together in some way.

I do hope you can find time to take part.  If you have already received an invitation to this survey please use the link given in the email you received:
