Over the last three years, Together Lancashire has been involved in supporting and networking a wide range of food banks and other food poverty projects across the county. We estimate that there are over 100 organisations who provide food to the needy and we are seeing great benefits from bringing together those with similar objectives to provide and share resources, expertise, and advocacy.
In recognition of this work, Together Lancashire has recently received funding from Lancashire County Council to support a programme of activities, working alongside key partners and providers such as your organisation; the aim is to improve availability of healthy, affordable food to the people of the county.
In order to understand better the range of activities undertaken by food related projects, we are asking for your help with this brief questionnaire; it requests information on your activities around food banks, community cafes and "soup kitchens", teaching about cooking and budgeting and about food growing projects.
