Community PowWow is Lancashire's new online community portal. It is different from anything else because you control it and it's free. Once you have registered and your information is live (and in the draw for the next two Google Nexus tablets) you can start using PowWow to promote your work. Directory - check your information is correct and sell your organisation. Make sure put in links to your website, twitter and facebook sites and get the word out to your networks about checking the site out. What's On - Have an event or training session coming up? Do you run drop in sessions? Put your event details up on PowWow to let others know what you're up to Market Place - This is where you can swap and share your resources. Need a minibus? Have unutilised meeting spaces? Hot desks? Old computers? You name it, someone else might need it. Upload your listing today and see what others are offering. Community PowWow listings are completely free. This is YOUR website. It is an extra platform to make your organisation more searchable and get your message and services out there. Use it like Facebook and Twitter as part of your social media package. The more word is spread the better a resource it will be for Lancashire so get involved. | |||
