Dear friends,
Apologies if you have already received this via another channel.

on November 15th some 400 people from many refugee organisations, voluntary groups and churches came together in the Birmingham Christian Centre for the first ever Sanctuary Summit.

One of the key outcomes was the Birmingham Declaration. We are now looking for AS MANY ORGANISATIONS AS POSSIBLE to endorse the declaration, which you can find by clicking this link

This is in preparation for taking it to all political party leaders early next year

Could you please read the attached document, and, if you agree with the things we are calling for, sign up on behalf of your organisation, or ask the appropriate leader to do so? Could you also pass it on to others who you think may also endorse it, or circulate it around any networks you are involved in? We need businesses, churches, schools, civic groups, clubs etc to sign the declaration, so that it encompasses the widest possible area of society.

If possible we would like these endorsements by 15th December. Anyone with the authority can sign up to the declaration on behalf of an organisation, by sending an email to
sanctuarysummit2014@gmail.com with the following information:
  Organisation
  Name
  Position in organisation

  Thanks!

  Dave

PS: If you could also copy me into the email, I won't be bugging you again!
